UX Process Reset Training

Course Description: To build UX maturity, you must have a consistent and repeatable process. This UX Process Reset Training gives you the tools and insights necessary to improve your UX processes and your UX management efforts. By working together to realign processes, roles, and how everyone works together, you will redesign your UX process in this workshop. 

Course Highlights:

  1. Align teams and develop a new UX process: Learn how to foster alignment among cross-functional teams through a well-designed process and UX process roadmap. Gain insights into the significance of shared objectives, clear communication, and goal-oriented planning to drive collective success.

  2. Process mapping and force-field analysis: Learn to conduct effective process mapping, a crucial tool for visualizing your UX workflow. Engage in force-field analysis techniques to identify barriers and driving forces influencing your process, enabling effective process redesign.

  3. Re-working Current to Future Process: Update your current UX process to a future state of efficiency. Explore methodologies for streamlining workflows, eliminating redundancies, and embracing emerging best practices to improve UX outcomes.

  4. Strategies for Building New Process Adoption: Learn change management strategies tailored to the unique needs of UX process adoption. Discover techniques to gain buy-in from stakeholders, decrease resistance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within your organization.

Course Format:

The process starts with unpacking your current process with stakeholder interviews: Experience Dynamics will conduct stakeholder interviews to gain valuable feedback and perspectives from stakeholders. Note: An additional fee is required for this activity. 

The course format is a workshops with group discussions. You will redesign your UX process in this workshop.

Note: We will unpack your current process with stakeholder interviewing (additional fee required).

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Re-work current process for improved UX effectiveness: Analyze and modify existing processes to enhance UX efficiency, improving user satisfaction and impactful design outcomes.
  • Implement new Org chart and/or process adjustments: Learn to identify weaknesses in your current process. Integrate organizational restructuring and process adjustments to address gaps and optimize performance.
  • Identify new Org chart needs: Assess the evolving needs of your organization’s structure, identifying organizational adjustments that improve UX collaboration and output.
  • Prepare a new process aligned with Organizational culture: Create a forward-looking UX process that aligns with the direction of UX maturity you want. Drive alignment between UX practices and broader organizational objectives.

Essential Details
  • 4 hours
  • Online (or in-person).
  • Up to 99 people (online) or 25 in-person.

20 interviews with employees to map current process will be required. These insights help shape a new process (used in the workshop). A report of recommendations and findings is included in this deliverable.
